A recent update of existing data failed for whatever reasons. I tried to update existing data to internal and external ssd. Battery was full and I didn't connected to power bank or other power source. During update the Tainer shut down, after booting again I got the message that update failed, the log itself showed no hints why. The correspondig folder were renamed with .UPTMP extension. (20250812.000.07242 -> 20250812.000.07242.UPTMP). When I put the same card in again I only can copy or copy and verify. Update option is not available. even when I remove the .UPTMP extension I couldn't restart an update only full copy is possible. Also it would be nice to have a time stamp in the log to identify the action where it might got wrong.
Edit:
All existing files were given the extension *.UPTMP ... so it seems this might be an issue that Tainer can't revert this renaming action.
If you add external USB drive without power connected, TAINER will warn you connect power adapter. It seems you ignored it and proceed to copy your memory card to two drive simultaneously. TAINER power system is not enough running two drive(internal & external SSD). It will work for a while but may fail because of power unstable after some time(depend on your external SSD power requirements). That unstable power might be reason why your incremental copy failed. UPTMP folder contains existing data without problem. But added data (postfix with .uptmp) files might be wrong. And in this case(update failed), TAINER does not allow update again because of potential conflict. Only full copy allowed.
For your other question on time stamp, TAINER does not have clock inside, so we cannot show you the time...
